- if you really want to know!  I am a qualified wildlife illustrator with over 20 years experience.  I live in Bearsted, Kent where have lived most of my life apart from my college days in Carmarthen, Wales. I was born in Hollingbourne and am still local to the area.

I have always had a passion for animals both wild and tame which means they are the source of inspiration for the vast majority of my artwork.  I have (some say) too many pets - but couldn't live without them! I have 4 dogs - 2 German shorthaired pointers and 2 (naughty) long haired Jack Russells, a miniature pony, a goat (also naughty), bantams, quail ... and a ferret.  They keep me busy when I am not painting ... and sometimes when I am.

I also am a great fan of fantasy & sci fi which has drawn me into the world of Automotive Customisation.  I have customised lots of bikes - mostly Harleys - and even a couple of trucks. 

I also enjoy drawing cartoons and have worked for several companies producing greetings cards. 

Most of the paintings I work on these days are bespoke commissions of people's pets which I love doing.  I usually work in acrylics but will also work in oils, watercolour, pencil charcoal etc in fact anything ... except pastels. No. Sorry, just don't get on with them!  I am also a keen photographer and am happy to take photos if required (if you are in the South East that is !).
